Marine Studios Writers' Room
We founded The Margate Bookshop Writers' Room, a workspace for readers, writers and creatives above the Margate Bookshop in August 2019. The bookshop needed the space for other things, but in 2023 we partnered with Dan Thompson, Connor Sansby and Antony Rendall-Davies to build on this idea and The Writers' Room at Marine Studios began.
The space is now an established writers' hub for Margate, offering fixed desk spaces, a poetry library, a meeting room and regular meet ups for writers of all genres.
